What this notice covers
This policy explains what we do with the information you give us when you request a private jet charter quote through costofprivatejet.com, or when you call or email our team. It applies to this site and to the quote request process that follows it.
We are a charter broker. We arrange flights, and the flying is done by operators who hold operational control. That distinction matters here, because it shapes who sees your trip details and who does not.
Information we collect
When you ask for a quote, we ask for your name, phone number, and email address. We also ask for trip details: where you are flying from and to, your dates, how many passengers are traveling, and any baggage or timing requirements you want factored in.
If you call, the conversation itself may be recorded. Calls are recorded for quality and record-keeping purposes, and by staying on a recorded line you agree to that. You can ask us to stop the recording at any point and continue by email instead.
Our site also collects basic technical data that any website receives, such as the pages you visit and the browser you use. We use it to understand what people are looking for when they arrive here.
Why we need it
We use your contact details to send you the quote and to answer questions about it. We use your trip details to work out which aircraft classes and operators fit the mission, and to give you an honest cost range rather than a number pulled from the air.
We keep records of quotes we have sent so that if you call back weeks later, we know what you were quoted and why. We do not use your information to send you unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it.
Who sees your trip details
To price your trip, we send the relevant details, such as the route, dates, passenger count, and baggage, to operators who can fly it. Those operators use the information to check aircraft availability and return a quote. We share only what is needed to price and schedule the trip.
Operators who receive your details handle them under their own privacy practices, and some of them may contact you directly about the quote. We do not share your information with anyone else except where the law requires it or where you have asked us to.
Call recording and retention
Recorded calls are kept for as long as we need them to resolve questions about a quote or to meet our record-keeping obligations, then deleted. Quote records, including your contact details and trip details, are kept for a similar period so we can pick up an old request without starting over.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time. We will remove what we hold, except records we are required to keep by law or that are needed to resolve an open dispute.
Questions about your information
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request to the contact address on this site and include enough detail for us to find your record, such as the email address or phone number you used for the quote.
If you have a concern about how your information was handled, tell us first and we will try to resolve it. This policy may be updated from time to time, and the current version will always be posted on this page.
